I graduated from Full Sail University's Film Bachelor program in 2016, but my love for storytelling, performance, and production began long before that.
I grew up in Western Massachusetts alongside digital media and the internet. YouTube was truly my first film-school, and to this day, I continue to be driven by tutorials on social media and skills shared by other artists online. I spent my early years taking every theater and video class I could get into. I was the president of my drama club, active in many local stage productions, and even sang at Boston Symphony Hall! But, my real passion has always been filmmaking. By the time I left for college, I had already completed two digital video courses, a photography class, two studio production classes, and an internship at my city's local telecom department.
After college, I moved to Atlanta, where I worked at The Weather Group's streaming service Local Now as an Associate Producer and Motion Graphics Artist. I gave talks at the Atlanta Film Society as a Post Production Assistant, produced independent film projects, competed in festivals, worked on music videos, and have since moved to Los Angeles in the pursuit of a career making movies.
Movies have the unique power to deliver messages on a global scale. The combination of sight and sound, bringing our stories to life via curated, pixel perfect frames, is a power that I don't wield lightly. I want to make the world a better place, where perspectives are seen, and stories are felt.
Through drama, hardship, laughter, and tears, I believe movies can change the world.
Shout out to Jay Buckley, who when I was fifteen let me mess around with the City's production equipment. The same praise extends to all of my art, music, and theater teachers whose lessons shaped who I am today.
